Children of Time

In this episode the crew of the Defiant is returning home from the Gamma Quadrant and everyone is eager to get home when Dax spots a planet that has unusual readings that she wants to check out, through a strange series of events they end up beaming down to the planet where they meet their . . . are you ready for this . . . their own descendants. Not only that they meet Dax (now in another host, who happens to be male) as well as the Odo from that time period (who has finally learned to shape-shift well). A fascinating episode all-around that you've got to see for yourself. It is really an episode about the whole crew and their reactions to the planet and also a Kira/Odo story. The only J/W in it is a scene where Jadzia Dax finds out from the other Dax that she and Worf were married and lived happily together on the planet. The trouble that comes on the planet is that they realize that if the crew of the Defiant saves themself from the crash that standed them here in the past (thanks to a temporal anyomly) their descendants will die. A really cool episode that digs deep into Dax, Kira, O'Brien, and Odo esp. It also shows a really neat group of Klingons who Worf takes a liking to.
