By Purgatory's Shadow

(Pic is of Dax and Worf when Worf is about to leave to go to the Gamma Quadrant on a dangerous mission)

This episode has got to be one of my all-time favorites ever. With amazing/horrible plot-twists you would never guess, and every different kind of story that DS9 does all shmooshed into one episode. There is comedy, drama, romance, etc. Plus it wraps up all the old story lines that have been hanging over it for so long, and at the same time lets loose a whole new batch of troubles. I don't want to give anything away other than this: Worf goes with Garak on a dangerous mission into the Gamma Quadrant in search of Enabrain Taim (yup, he's alive). The J/W scene is this ep is Dax and Worf's good-bye scene (and we finally find out what happened to Worf's Klingon operas). I don't want to say anything else about this episode because the suprise of it is what makes it so great. The fact that Taim is alive is the smallest plot-twist of the episode. There are in fact 3 more that are even more amazing, if you havn't seen this episode watch it as soon as possible. If you have, then I suggest you go back and watch it again, its gets better everytime you watch it.(oh, and this is the first of a 2-part episode, the second part is By Inferno's Light, you've got to watch them together, but both are equally great. If you want to go to the By Inferno's Light episode guide press ---->here)
